Silent Reliquary

The corridor narrows as it descends, lanterns flickering in patterns that feel intentional. The hum deepens, resolving into a slow, resonant pulse that seems to echo inside the bones rather than the ears. Dust drifts in spirals, caught in the gravity of something waiting far below. And at the end of the passage stands a door of seamless iron, warm to the touch, listening.
When the Silent Reliquary chooses to speak, it does not roar. It invites.
The door opens with a soft, deliberate slide, revealing a chamber lit by pale starlight and the faint glow of ancient machinery. In that hush, the Reliquary sends its summons — three tones, one coordinate, no explanation. A message older than the Orders, older than the wars, older than the tavern itself.
And somewhere far above, aboard the Star Cruiser Lion’s Roar, the Order of the Solar Lion hears it.
