Narrative Beat
The march begins in shadow — and the world will learn what the Pale Hand remembers.

I was born into this hate. Not taught it — born into it. Every Orc on the plains carries the same memory: the Horselords riding down our kin, the man‑lings cutting our clans apart, the long centuries where we buried more than we ever reclaimed.

Tonight the War‑speaker’s voice rolls down the tower like a storm breaking open. He doesn’t have to convince us. He just reminds us. Reminds us of the ground they stole, the blood they spilled, the names they tried to erase.

We brace our shields. We lift our blades. We feel the old fury settle into its rightful place.

The War‑speaker doesn’t shout at first. He never does. He lets the tower carry his words, low and heavy, the way our elders used to speak when they recited the old losses. He tells us what we already know — that the Horselords never fought fair, that the man‑lings took our plains inch by inch and called it peace.

Then his voice climbs, and every Orc feels it in the ribs. He names the clans that burned. He names the rivers we lost. He names the graves we were forced to leave behind. Every word is a wound reopened on purpose.

By the time he screams

TO WAR!!!

it isn’t a command. It’s a release. We brace our shields. We lift our blades. We carry the NAMES he gave back to us.

Lore

The Pale Hand Dominion rises from the fortified citadels of the eastern frontier, where discipline is carved into stone and memory alike. Every Orc in the Dominion carries the old losses — the plains taken inch by inch, the clans scattered, the graves left behind. When the War‑speaker calls, he does not persuade; he reminds. He names the rivers lost, the clans burned, the battles where the Horselords rode down their kin. His voice rolls through the tower like a storm breaking open, and the Dominion answers with shields braced and blades lifted.

This Starter Box represents a classic Pale Hand muster: controlled, methodical, and utterly unyielding. Pikemen advance in perfect formation, locking the field in place. Crossbow lines grind down resistance with armor‑piercing volleys. Sword companies push forward with relentless precision, guided by commanders who value order above all else and bolstered by the cold, calculating magic of the White Wizards. When the Crown Wars ignite, the Dominion does not rush — it advances with purpose.

Tactical Role

The Pale Hand Starter Box delivers a formation‑driven force built around battlefield control, disciplined infantry, and devastating ranged support. Pikemen form the Dominion’s reach‑control core, denying charges, locking corridors, and anchoring the centerline. Crossbowmen provide sustained ranged pressure, breaking shield walls and softening enemy formations before the advance. Swordsmen exploit openings created by the Dominion’s rigid cohesion, pushing forward to secure objectives or collapse weakened flanks.

The White Wizard enhances the formation with precision magic, reinforcing defensive lines or amplifying ranged volleys. The Dominion Commander ensures cohesion, issuing formation orders that keep the army moving as a single, unbreakable block. This box excels in tempo control, lane denial, and attrition‑based engagements, making it ideal for players who prefer steady, dependable forces capable of dictating the pace of battle.

Whether holding a choke point, advancing across open plains, or grinding through enemy ranks, the Pale Hand Dominion thrives on order, discipline, and relentless pressure.
