Narrative Beat
The Aurethil Court assures you the full story is imminent; the Flying Heroes simply descended early to make sure the plot had the proper amount of dramatic altitude.
Lore
Flying Heroes of the Aurethil Court are elite skyborne champions bonded to ancient wind‑spirits and mounted upon great hawks, sun‑feathered raptors, or spectral gliders depending on the lineage. Their armor is woven with sky‑silver filigree, their cloaks shimmer like dawnlight, and their presence in the air is a symbol of the Court’s mastery over the high paths. These heroes embody the Aurethil identity in aerial command, precision strike leadership, and mythic elven sky‑warfare, guiding their kin with serene authority from above.
Whether acting as sky‑wardens, wind‑speakers, or aerial battle‑captains, Flying Heroes are the narrative and tactical apex of the Aurethil airborne tradition.
Tactical Role
Flying Heroes excel in aerial command, rapid redeployment, precision strike leadership, and battlefield oversight, making them indispensable for commanders who rely on mobility and coordinated skyborne assaults. Their vantage point allows them to mark targets, direct Hawk Rider formations, collapse enemy flanks, and deliver decisive charges from angles ground‑bound foes cannot anticipate. Field them when you need a hero that moves like a whisper, strikes like a storm, and turns the sky itself into a weapon across any system‑neutral fantasy ruleset.
