Narrative Story Beat
In the grand tradition of cosmic misunderstandings, one Orc has decided he’s in charge — mostly because he’s the only one carrying enough guns to make the argument stick.

Lore

The Space Orc Pirates Sci‑fi Starter Box introduces a faction of void‑raiding, thruster‑boosted, scrap‑armored marauders who roam the galaxy in barely functional starships held together by duct tape, hope, and the occasional stolen reactor core.

These pirates are not subtle. They raid asteroid colonies, hijack cargo haulers, and occasionally attempt to plunder orbital defense platforms (results vary). Their culture revolves around:

  • Loot acquisition

  • Improvised engineering

  • Loud weapons

  • Louder personalities

Their armies blend ramshackle tech, brutal melee, and explosive ranged firepower. Every unit feels like it was built by someone who said, “What if we made it louder?” and then immediately did.

This starter set embodies classic space‑orc archetypes, sci‑fi raider warbands, and scrap‑tech skirmish forces, giving players everything needed to begin a full Space Orc Pirate army.

Tactical Role

This Starter Box provides a fast, chaotic, combined‑arms foundation, blending:

  • Aggressive melee pirates

  • Scrap‑tech ranged units

  • Jet‑boosted assault troops

  • A pirate captain with questionable leadership skills

  • A ramshackle hover‑rig vehicle

The Space Orc Pirates play as a high‑mobility, high‑impact faction, thriving on flanking, disruption, and explosive close‑quarters engagements.

Scenario Hook
The Hover‑Rig sputtered to life, belching smoke as the Jet‑Boost Boyz launched themselves off the deck, the Scrap‑Shot Gunners fired wildly into the void, and the Pirate Captain declared, “We’re takin’ whatever ain’t nailed down—and if it is nailed down, we’re takin’ the nails too!”
