Northern Despoilers - Mutant Trolls

Mutant Trolls are towering horrors spawned in the frozen pits and corrupted warrens of the Northern Despoilers. Their bodies twist with unstable growths — bone plates jutting from shoulders, extra limbs fused into muscle knots, and skin that shifts between frost‑bitten hide and molten scar tissue. Each troll is a walking catastrophe, shaped by dark rituals, toxic alchemy, and the Despoilers’ gleeful disregard for natural law.

These creatures are not simple brutes — they are war‑mutations, living weapons engineered to break lines, terrify foes, and survive wounds that would kill anything with a more sensible anatomy. Their regeneration is unpredictable, sometimes sprouting new limbs mid‑battle, sometimes erupting in violent bursts of mutation that reshape their attacks.

Mutant Trolls embody the Northern Despoilers’ identity in chaotic brutality, corrupted biology, and monstrous battlefield dominance.

Mutant Trolls excel in shock assault, monstrous breakthrough, terror projection, and attrition warfare, making them indispensable for commanders who rely on raw force and unpredictable devastation. Their massive frames smash through infantry, their mutations grant varied attack profiles, and their regeneration keeps them in the fight long after lesser beasts fall.

Field them when you need a unit that hits like an avalanche, mutates like a bad idea, and turns the battlefield into a cautionary tale across any system‑neutral fantasy ruleset.
