Narrative Beat
In a moment that could only be described as “heroically inconvenient,” the Orbital Knights Assault Infantry (No Jump Pack) advanced—proving once again that gravity is optional, but overwhelming force is not.
Lore
The Orbital Knights Assault Infantry (No Jump Pack) are the close‑quarters shock troopers of the Knightly Orders, trained to breach starship corridors, fortified bunkers, and void‑scarred trenches without relying on aerial mobility. Drawn from the armored bastions orbiting the Aurelian Sphere, these infantry specialize in brutal, forward momentum—advancing with reinforced plate, void‑sealed helms, and compact assault carbines designed for shipboard combat. Their identity is anchored in relentless pressure: disciplined warriors who close distance with precision, break defensive lines, and hold captured ground with knightly resolve across sci‑fi wargaming and space‑opera battlefields.
Tactical Role
The Orbital Knights Assault Infantry (No Jump Pack) serve as mid‑range assault troops ideal for commanders who need dependable, gravity‑bound infantry capable of storming objectives and clearing contested zones. Their stabilized armor and corridor‑optimized weapons make them perfect for boarding actions, trench pushes, and urban sci‑fi engagements where mobility comes from discipline rather than jump jets. Field them when you require a reliable, forward‑driving unit that can seize ground, maintain pressure, and operate effectively in tight, tactical environments across any system‑neutral ruleset.
