Narrative Beat
In a moment best described as “heroically inevitable,” the Orbital Knights Assault Infantry advanced—moving with the disciplined momentum of warriors who have never once considered retreat a viable tactical option.
Lore
The Orbital Knights Assault Infantry are the Knightly Orders’ core shock‑troop formation, trained in voidborne assault doctrine and corridor‑combat precision. Forged in the Aurelian Sphere’s orbital bastions, these infantry wear reinforced knight‑pattern plate, void‑sealed helms, and wield compact assault carbines optimized for shipboard firefights and trench‑line pushes. Their battlefield identity is built on relentless forward pressure—disciplined warriors who close distance with purpose, break defensive lines, and hold captured ground with unwavering resolve across sci‑fi and space‑opera settings.
Tactical Role
The Orbital Knights Assault Infantry serve as mid‑range assault troops ideal for commanders who need dependable, gravity‑bound infantry capable of storming objectives and clearing contested zones. Their stabilized armor and corridor‑optimized weapons make them perfect for:
-
Objective pushes — disciplined forward momentum
-
Corridor fighting — shipboard and urban dominance
-
Breach support — pairing with Siege or Aggression Armor
-
Line holding — maintaining pressure after the advance
Field them when you need a reliable, forward‑driving unit that can seize ground and maintain pressure across any system‑neutral ruleset.
