Reptilian City-States — Light Cavalry

In a moment best described as “swiftly sovereign,” the Reptilian City‑States Light Cavalry swept across the battlefield—moving with the predatory, disciplined certainty of riders who believe speed is a civic virtue and momentum is a sacred weapon.

They do not simply arrive. They claim the field.

The Light Cavalry are the rapid‑response outriders of the Reptilian City‑States, drawn from jungle scouts, marsh riders, and desert couriers who serve as the faction’s mobile strike arm. Known for their reed‑woven charms, bone‑tipped javelins, and agile reptilian mounts, they embody the adaptive, terrain‑driven warfare that defines the scaled polities. Their silhouette—lean riders, forward‑angled spears, and low‑slung reptilian steeds—anchors the faction’s classic fantasy cavalry, giving City‑State armies a fast, flexible battlefield tool.

Tactical Role

The Reptilian Light Cavalry excel in flanking, harassment, and rapid objective pressure. Commanders field them when they need speed, maneuverability, and precision strikes that complement phalanx discipline and skirmisher mobility. Their ability to sweep around enemy lines, chase down vulnerable targets, and exploit terrain lanes makes them indispensable in system‑neutral fantasy mass‑battle, especially on boards where mobility determines tempo.
