Narrative Beat

With the kind of punctual discipline only civic‑oath infantry can muster, the Phalanx Warriors assemble themselves—shields raised, spears leveled, and the unmistakable geometry of City‑State formation warfare settling into place like a ritual.

Lore

The Phalanx Warriors are the core infantry of the Reptilian City‑States, trained in the ancient civic‑oath traditions that define the scaled polities. Known for their bronze helms, geometric shields, and bone‑etched spears, they form the disciplined shield‑walls that anchor the faction’s battlefield identity. Their silhouette—broad shields, forward‑leaning spears, and ritual armor—makes them one of the most recognizable units in classic fantasy mass‑battle, and a foundational SEO pillar for the City‑States faction.

Tactical Role

The Phalanx Warriors serve as the faction’s dependable frontline infantry, ideal for holding objectives, absorbing charges, and maintaining formation cohesion. Commanders field them when they need a stable mid‑field presence capable of structured advance and attrition‑based control. Their shield‑wall discipline and spear reach make them essential in system‑neutral fantasy warfare, especially in armies built around formation tactics and terrain‑adaptive play.
