The Imperial Human Crossbow Infantry form the High Crown Dominion’s disciplined mid‑range armor‑piercing corps. Trained in the Dominion’s bolt‑halls, these soldiers drill relentlessly in reload rhythm, volley timing, and formation‑support tactics.
Each Crossbowman carries the Dominion’s signature steel‑reinforced crossbow, paired with a quiver of heavy bolts, belt‑mounted loading tools, and a short hanger‑blade for emergencies. Their armor—quilted gambesons with steel pauldrons—marks them as professional ranged troops capable of supporting infantry formations without sacrificing mobility.
Their silhouette is intentionally IP‑safe, grounded in classic fantasy archetypes: crossbows, heavy bolts, disciplined ranks, and clean historical lines. They embody the Dominion’s ethos of order, discipline, and precise battlefield pressure.
Imperial Crossbow Infantry serve as mid‑range armor‑piercing shooters, ideal for commanders who need:
-
high‑impact bolt volleys against armored infantry
-
steady formation support behind spearmen and halberdiers
-
counter‑skirmish fire against light troops
-
zone control through reload‑cycle timing
-
combined‑arms synergy with melee units
They are the Dominion’s most reliable ranged infantry—consistent, accurate, and devastating when properly positioned.
