Light Cavalry don’t chase opportunities—they create them.
The Imperial Human Light Cavalry are the High Crown Dominion’s swift maneuver troops, drawn from frontier provinces where horsemanship, scouting, and rapid engagement are cultural traditions. These riders excel in mobility‑driven warfare, striking quickly, screening the army’s flanks, and exploiting openings before heavier formations can respond.
Each rider carries a light cavalry spear, curved saber, or javelin bundle, paired with a buckler shield and lamellar riding armor designed for speed over protection. Their horses—lean, hardy, and bred for endurance—allow them to traverse rough terrain and outmaneuver slower foes.
Their silhouette is intentionally IP‑safe, grounded in classic fantasy light‑cavalry archetypes: agile horses, light shields, spears, javelins, and dynamic riding poses. They embody the Dominion’s ethos of speed, initiative, discipline, and battlefield adaptability.
Imperial Light Cavalry serve as fast maneuver and harassment troops, ideal for commanders who need:
-
rapid flanking pressure
-
hit‑and‑fade harassment
-
anti‑skirmisher pursuit
-
screening and scouting
-
fast objective disruption
They are the Dominion’s most mobile cavalry—never meant to hold the line, always meant to shape it.
