Northern Despoilers Light Cavalry

Despoiler Light Cavalry are the fast‑moving mounted skirmishers of the Northern Despoilers — corrupted riders mounted on feral beasts bred in frost‑caves, toxic stables, and mutation pits. Their steeds are lean, vicious, and unnervingly fast: bone‑spur legs, frost‑scarred hides, ember‑glowing eyes, and jaws that look like they were designed by someone who hates geometry.

Some mounts resemble mutated wolves, others twisted boars, and a few look like reptilian nightmares with too many joints. Their riders wear piecemeal armor — hide scraps, bone plates, stitched leather — and wield lightweight but brutal weapons: hooked spears, jagged blades, bone‑spiked javelins, and corrupted short‑axes.

Light Cavalry embody the Northern Despoilers’ identity in feral mobility, corrupted agility, and relentless battlefield harassment.

Despoiler Light Cavalry excel in fast flanking, skirmisher hunting, harassment runs, and chaotic pressure, making them indispensable for commanders who rely on speed and unpredictable aggression. Their mutated mounts dart through gaps, their riders strike quickly and withdraw, and their presence forces enemies to constantly reposition.

Field them when you need a unit that moves like a plague wind, hits like a bad omen, and turns the battlefield into a cautionary chase scene across any system‑neutral fantasy ruleset.
