Northern Despoilers Light Infantry

Despoiler Light Infantry are the fast‑moving, lightly armored shock troops of the Northern Despoilers — corrupted warriors who rely on speed, feral aggression, and mutation‑enhanced reflexes. Their bodies show signs of ritual tampering: elongated limbs, bone‑spur growths, frost‑scarred skin, ember‑burned tattoos, or eyes that glow with predatory malice.

Their weapons are brutal but lightweight — hooked cleavers, jagged spears, bone‑spiked blades, and corrupted short‑axes designed for rapid strikes. Their armor is piecemeal: hide‑patches, bone plates, stitched leather, and frost‑bitten scraps that offer just enough protection to encourage recklessness.

Light Infantry embody the Northern Despoilers’ identity in feral speed, corrupted agility, and relentless battlefield harassment.

Despoiler Light Infantry excel in fast assault, flanking disruption, skirmisher hunting, and chaotic pressure, making them indispensable for commanders who rely on mobility and unpredictable aggression. Their speed overwhelms slower foes, their mutated reflexes let them dart through gaps, and their ferocity keeps them dangerous even without heavy armor.

Field them when you need a unit that moves like a plague, hits like a bad omen, and turns the battlefield into a cautionary sprint across any system‑neutral fantasy ruleset.
