The Skeleton Knight Cavalry are the Gothic Undead’s elite mounted warriors, raised from ancient knightly orders and reforged through necromantic rites. Their skeletal steeds are bound by spectral sinew, their armor is rusted plate reinforced with ossified plating, and their hollow eye sockets burn with balefire discipline. Each knight carries a chipped lance, a cracked sword, or a rune‑etched shield — relics of forgotten crusades repurposed for eternal war.
Unlike mortal cavalry, Skeleton Knights never tire, never panic, and never break formation. Their undead steeds gallop with unnatural speed, hooves striking the earth like war‑drums from the grave. Necromancers rely on them for decisive charges, Gravebound Knights command them as elite outriders, and Vampire Generals unleash them as the spearhead of any undead assault.
Where they ride, the living scatter.
Skeleton Knight Cavalry act as elite shock cavalry, ideal for:
-
Delivering devastating charges into enemy lines
-
Flanking vulnerable infantry with speed and precision
-
Supporting monsters and heroes with coordinated assaults
-
Breaking enemy morale through sudden, rattling impact
-
Holding objectives with durable, mounted bodies
Commanders field Skeleton Knight Cavalry when they need fast, disciplined, and terrifying mounted troops capable of turning momentum into carnage.
