Gothic Undead — Skeleton Light Infantry

The Skeleton Light Infantry are the Gothic Undead’s rapid‑response bone troops, raised from ancient burial pits and battlefield remains but stripped of heavy armor to enhance mobility. Their frames are bound by spectral sinew, their bones etched with runes of swiftness, and their hollow sockets glow with balefire urgency. Each carries lightweight weapons — chipped blades, rusted spears, or cracked shortbows — relics of forgotten wars repurposed for necromantic service.

Unlike the disciplined phalanxes of Raised Skeletons, Light Infantry operate in loose, skirmishing formations. They dart between ruins, swarm flanks, and strike with unnerving coordination. Necromancers favor them for ambushes, Gravebound Knights use them as outriders, and Vampire Generals unleash them as swift harriers to soften enemy lines before the main host arrives.

Skeleton Light Infantry act as fast, flexible skirmish troops, ideal for:
