Gothic Undead — Raised Skeletons

The Raised Skeletons are the Gothic Undead’s classic line infantry, animated through ancient rites, cursed marrow, and the cold will of Necromancers. Their bones are bound by spectral sinew, their armor is scavenged from forgotten battlefields, and their empty eye sockets glow faintly with balefire obedience. Some carry rusted shields, others wield chipped blades or cracked spears — relics of lives long lost.

Unlike Zombies, Skeletons retain a faint echo of discipline. They march in formation, respond to commands with eerie precision, and reform ranks even after suffering catastrophic damage. Gravebound Knights use them as steadfast phalanxes, Vampire Generals rely on them as tireless bodyguards, and Necromancers replenish their numbers with every fallen foe.

Where Skeletons rise, the battlefield becomes a cold, rattling echo of ancient wars.

Raised Skeletons act as durable, disciplined core infantry, ideal for:

• Holding the line with tireless resilience

• Screening elite undead units

• Forming shield‑walls and spear ranks

• Providing reliable melee support

• Anchoring objectives with necromantic discipline

Commanders field Skeletons when they need a dependable, unbreakable frontline capable of grinding down foes through attrition and formation strength.
